Lisa Ruiz Ma

Lisa Ruiz MA, LSW is a dedicated therapist with extensive experience in individual and family therapy, currently employed at Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment Center since June 2015. As a Clinical Coordinator and Clinical Specialist, Lisa conducts orientations and assessments for new admissions while performing various duties as a Behavioral Health Specialist, providing emotional support and facilitating recovery action groups. Additionally, Lisa operates a pre-licensed private practice focused on person-centered counseling and has previously worked with Guardian Angel Community Services as an Economic Advocate and Domestic Violence Counselor. Lisa began her career at Pilsen Wellness Center, Inc., facilitating psychosocial rehabilitation groups and providing vocational counseling. Lisa holds a Master of Social Work from the University of St. Francis and a Master's degree in Behavioral Psychology from the University of the Rockies, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Northern Illinois University.
