Q.Y. Ma

Group Chairman, CEO & Co-Founder at Time Medical

Professor Q.Y. Ma is the Chairman and CEO of Time Medical System Corp, and a leading technology innovator in the medical imaging and service industry.

Prof. Ma has 30 years of experience in the Biomed R&D and Medical Imaging Industry in the US and China. He has served as an associate professor at Columbia University, Harvard Medical School, as well as at the University of Hong Kong. Prof. Ma has over 30 patents and published more than 300 papers. Prof. Ma is a leading expert in the field of microelectronic devices, superconducting technology, RF devices, and biomedical imaging. He has also served as a consultant for IBM, GE, and Du Pont.

Prof. Ma is the co-founder and advisor of SMIC, and he has also served as an advisor to the Ministry of Information Industry, as well as to Beijing, Shanghai, and Zhengjiang governments. Prof. Ma is the President of the Overseas Chinese Entrepreneur Alliance (OCEA).

Prof. Ma received his Ph.D. in microelectronics from Columbia University and a SEP degree from Stanford Business School. He is currently a board member of CIBR (Coalition for Imaging and Bioengineering Research) in the US.
