Matt Beres

Matt Beres is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in various roles focused on elementary education and social emotional learning. Currently serving as the Director of Elementary Education at Triway Local School District since August 2020, Beres oversees strategic planning, professional development, and human resources functions. Additionally, in a previous role as Director of Social Emotional Learning, Beres managed counseling departments and fostered community partnerships. With a background as an Education Advocate at Time to Teach Inc. and in various educational roles within Northwestern Local Schools, Beres has demonstrated a commitment to enhancing academic achievement and supporting student well-being. Beres holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education and has been actively involved in mentoring and curriculum development throughout a diverse career that began with a Bachelor's degree in Christian Education from Cedarville University.
