Bill Welch

Bill Welch has extensive experience in the field of photography and journalism, having worked for several prominent news organizations since 1975. Welch currently serves as a senior photographer and live tech at News 14 Carolina, a position held since August 2006. Previously, Welch was the Chief News Photographer at WXLV from August 2003 to August 2005 and spent 28 years at WFMY, where the roles included senior photographer and chief photographer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting and Journalism from the University of Florida, earned between 1969 and 1973.
