Aman Batheja

Aman Batheja is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in political reporting and editing. Currently serving as the Senior Political Editor at TIME since May 2022, Batheja previously held the position of Deputy Weekend Editor at The New York Times from July 2019 to May 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Political Editor and Political Reporter at Texas Tribune (April 2012 - June 2019) and as a Political Reporter at Fort Worth Star-Telegram (February 2004 - March 2012). Additional internships and freelance reporting experience span prominent organizations such as Knight Ridder and Rolling Stone Magazine. Aman Batheja holds a Master's degree in Economics from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Psychology from New York University.
