Nancy Gibbs is a distinguished journalist and academic currently serving as the Faculty Director and Edward R. Murrow Professor of Practice at Harvard Kennedy School's Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy since March 2018. Gibbs also holds the position of Editor at Large for TIME Magazine and has extensive experience in editorial roles, including Editor in Chief of TIME, where Gibbs transformed the publication into a leading multiplatform news source. With prior roles at Time Inc. as Editorial Director, Gibbs oversaw content strategy and development of new revenue streams across major publications. In addition, Gibbs has a rich academic background, having held fellowships and professorships at Princeton University and serving as a John F. Kennedy Fellow at Fulbright New Zealand. Educational credentials include a B.A. Summa Cum Laude in History from Yale University and a BA (MA) in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics as a Marshall Scholar at the University of Oxford.
