Matthew Weobley

Matthew Weobley has a diverse range of work experience in the television and production industry. Matthew began their career at ITV in 2010, where they gained work experience in the camera, lighting, and sound departments. Matthew then went on to work as a camera assistant at BAFTA and assisted at the Children's BAFTA Awards. In 2012, they worked as a 3D camera assistant at OBS Madrid, where they learned about 3D television technology. Matthew also co-founded a creative production company called Curious Crow Productions, specializing in video production, photography, and illustration.

In 2013, Matthew worked as a camera assistant at both CTV Outside Broadcast and Telegenic, where they gained experience in camera operation, equipment setup, and maintenance. Matthew continued their journey at CTV Outside Broadcasts Ltd. from 2015 to 2019, starting as a camera guarantee and eventually guaranteeing large jobs such as international cricket tournaments and the Open golf.

Most recently, Matthew has been working at Timeline Television since 2019. Matthew started as a senior camera guarantee and was promoted to the position of head of cameras in April 2022. As head of cameras, they are responsible for overseeing the camera department and ensuring smooth operations during television productions.
