Rebecca Harris

Rebecca Harris has a wealth of work experience spanning over two decades. Rebecca began their career as a Business Analyst at Keane Ltd in 1998, where they led a SAP Data entry project and designed an intranet site for the Year 2000 project.

In 2001, they joined Accenture as an eOperations Analyst, where they designed a Disaster Recovery plan for BP and supported various senior managers in resource management. Rebecca later became a Resource Management Analyst, allocating technical expertise to clients across Europe and leading the global roll-out of an online delivery portal.

Rebecca then transitioned to the role of Regional Change Coach at Accenture, working remotely and coaching end users on system and process changes. Rebecca also delivered training sessions on various topics.

In 2011, Rebecca joined Red Bee Media as a 2nd Line IT Broadcast Engineer, providing system support and maintenance across multiple business areas. Rebecca also worked as a Production Assistant, assisting with the production and transmission of subtitles, signing, and audio description for clients such as the BBC and C4.

Rebecca then moved to Evertz in 2014 as a Mediator Service Engineer and Linux Engineer. In this role, they assisted customers with debugging and resolving issues in a Linux environment and answered questions about the Mediator system.

In 2017, Rebecca joined Snell Advanced Media as a Helpdesk Team Lead and Acting Head of Helpdesk. Rebecca led a team of engineers and customer service representatives, ensuring support for a variety of products and services.

Most recently, Rebecca worked as a Freelance IT Broadcast Engineer at Honeycomb TV and is currently employed as a MAM Support Engineer at Timeline Television.

Rebecca Harris completed their undergraduate education with a B.Sc.(Hons.) 2.2 degree in Business Information Systems (integrated) from The University of Salford, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Rebecca then pursued further studies at The Open University, from 2003 to 2012, earning a B.Sc.(Hons) degree in Humanities with Classics. Before attending university, Rebecca attended the KEHS school from 1987 to 1994, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this period.
