Alankar Jain

Alankar Jain is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering, machine learning, and human-computer interaction. Currently serving as a Co-Founder at Stealth since May 2025, Alankar previously held roles at Google, where responsibilities included developing large language models for search retrieval and leading the tech team for List Answers, a feature with 600 million monthly active users launched in multiple languages. Alankar's early career included significant contributions as a Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University, focusing on conversational AI, and as a Machine Learning Engineer at IBM Research, tackling diverse data mining challenges. Alankar holds dual degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Master of Science in Language Technologies from Carnegie Mellon University.
