Yichuan Tang

Yichuan Tang currently serves as Vice President of Machine Learning Research at Stealth since July 2025, following a similar role at The D. E. Shaw Group from June 2020 to June 2025. Prior to that, Yichuan held positions at Apple as a Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist in the AI Research and Special Projects Group from January 2017 to June 2020. Yichuan co-founded and served as President at Perceptual Machines / Clarevision from July 2015 to December 2016 and interned as a Machine Learning Researcher at Miovision in February 2008. Academically, Yichuan completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Deep Learning and Statistical Machine Learning at the University of Toronto from January 2010 to January 2015, after obtaining a Master of Mathematics in Computer Science at the University of Waterloo from January 2008 to January 2010.
