Barre-Montpelier Times Argus

Central Vermont's daily newspaper since 1897, the Times Argus is the product of a merger of the Barre Times and the Montpelier Evening Argus in 1959. Family-owned for its entire history, the newspaper's sister paper is the Rutland Herald. The newspapers operate the Vermont Press Bureau, which provides coverage of state government. The Times Argus reports on the communities in Washington, Lamoille and Orange counties in Vermont.
