Dave Obee has been with the Times Colonist since January 1997 and currently holds the title of Editor and Publisher. Dave has also served as the Editor in Chief, Editorial Page Editor, and Managing Editor at various times. Prior to their time at the Times Colonist, Dave served as the Sports Editor at the Calgary Herald from March 1993 to March 1995. Dave Obee was awarded an honorary doctorate of laws from the University of Victoria.
