Smriti Rastogi

Smriti Rastogi serves as a Consulting Political Editor at Jagran New Media since August 2023, leading content strategy and creation for media initiatives. From May 2021, Smriti has also been an Event Host for Times Internet, compering various significant events across multiple cities and hosting virtual events for The Economic Times. Since February 2021, Smriti has contributed as a Senior Anchor for Doordarshan Kendra, focusing on live sports shows. Previously, Smriti held the position of Consulting Editor (Political) at IndiaDotcom Digital and has extensive experience as a Consulting Editor (Political) and Independent Anchor at Jagran New Media from October 2020 to May 2023. Smriti's earlier career includes being a Senior News Anchor/Producer at Rajya Sabha TV from 2011 to 2020, where various news bulletins and special shows were anchored and produced. Smriti began the career as a freelance anchor and voice-over artist with Doordarshan Kendra and as an anchor/producer with Asian News International. Smriti holds a B.Sc in Journalism from St Mary's Convent Inter College, Lucknow.
