Andrew Charlton

Andrew Charlton has been working in the software engineering and development industry since 2007. Andrew has held various roles including Teacher of Mathematics & Computer Science at Durham Sixth Form Centre from 2007 to 2010, Director of Assessment, Recording and Reporting at Harton Technology College from 2010 to 2015, Assistant Headteacher (Assessment, Curriculum and Timetable) at The Venerable Bede Church Of England Academy from 2015 to 2017, Software Engineer and Software Engineering Team Lead at SaleCycle from 2017 to 2019, Senior Go Developer at Numbrs from 2019 to 2020, and Senior Software Engineer at InfluxData from 2020 to 2023. Andrew has experience in using Python, Go, Apache Ignite, AWS services, Unit Testing, Git, Github PRs and Travis-CI.

Andrew Charlton attended the University of Cambridge from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a BA and MA in Engineering (Electrical and Information Sciences).
