Davor Tomic

Davor Tomic has over 17 years of work experience in the design industry. Davor started their career in 2004 as the Chief of Design and Co-Founder at Designeus. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a UI/UX Designer at iPetitions, Toptal, and Ooyala. In 2015, they joined Nordnet Bank AB as a Senior Product Designer and later became the Interim Head of Product Design. In 2017, they moved to Paradox Interactive as a Senior UX Designer. In 2018, they joined 1337 as a Lead Consultant and Principal UX Designer. In 2019, they joined Insurello as a Design Manager. Currently, they are working as a Senior Product Designer at Timescale.

Davor Tomic attended the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu from 1998 to 2011, where they earned a Mag. Ing. Traff. degree in Telecommunications from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences. Davor has also obtained various certifications, such as Design Terminology from Uxcel in August 2022, UX Certificate from Nielsen Norman Group in June 2019, UX Management: Strategy and Tactics from The Interaction Design Foundation in June 2019, Leading with Emotional Intelligence from LinkedIn in August 2018, Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in August 2018, Design Thinking: Understanding the Process from Lynda.com in June 2016, Foundations of UX: Content Strategy from Lynda.com in February 2016, Gamification from Coursera in October 2012, and Human-Computer Interaction from Coursera in July 2012. Davor Tomic is currently enrolled in a program at Ambition Empower from 2021 to 2022.
