Bert Baeck has held a variety of roles in their career. In 2007, they were the Owner and Managing Director of Stratton Oakmont Capital bvba. In 2019, they were the Entrepreneur In Residence and Partner at Smartfin Capital. Bert was also the Director of the Board of Directors at VersaSense and Roamler. In 2020, they became the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Timeseer.AI. In 2021, they were a Board Observer for SFV II at Locatee - Uncover Workplace Insights. In 2022, they were an Investor and Advisor at Qualico BV, Intago, and Fit & Fresh Belgium, as well as an Investor and Board Director at Revend.

Bert Baeck began their education in 1999, when they attended HOGENT and earned an ing in Applied Electronics, FPGA Design. Bert then went on to Ghent University, where they earned a Master of Science (MSc) - Burgerlijk ingenieur in Computer Science in 2005. In 2011, they attended Vlerick Business School and took a Creativity class.
