Jonathan Carreon

Jonathan Carreon has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Most recently, they worked at Timesys Corporation as a Marketing, Inside Sales, and Technical Sales Consultant. Prior to that, they owned their own marketing business called Toothy Grin Marketing, LLC.

Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Jonathan worked as a Website Designer, Marketing, and Technical Consultant in 2020, where they designed and maintained websites for local and national businesses. Jonathan has expertise in using WordPress, setting up e-commerce pages, and managing email campaigns.

In 2016, Jonathan joined Airviz Inc., initially working in Sales and Marketing as a Web Design Specialist. Here, they focused on B2B lead generation, market research, and creating/maintaining WordPress websites. Jonathan later transitioned to becoming a Firmware Programmer, where they developed firmware for a commercial product using Nordic and ST Micro Bluetooth LE SOCs.

Prior to their time at Airviz Inc., Jonathan worked at 4moms as an Electronics Design Engineer. Jonathan was involved in Agile design processes and worked on firmware development for battery-powered juvenile products. Jonathan wrote embedded application software and conducted unit and integration tests.

Jonathan also gained valuable experience as an IoT Software Research Intern at Robert Bosch RTC, designing wireless sensor network nodes and implementing software for a business rules engine and sensor integration middleware.

Before their career in technology, Jonathan served as a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy. Jonathan excelled in overseeing the medical and dental readiness of Marines and providing emergency medical care during combat operations.

Jonathan Carreon completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering, at Carnegie Mellon University. Jonathan attended the university from 2009 to 2013. Following their undergraduate studies, Jonathan pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University from 2013 to 2014.
