Juan Bello Avilés has extensive work experience in various roles within the mining industry. Juan started their career as a Practica Profesional with CODELCO in 2008, before moving on to work as an Ingeniero investigador at IM2 - Instituto de Innovación en Minería y Metalurgia - Filial Codelco. In this role, they were responsible for gathering information, monitoring pilot tests, and analyzing projects at different engineering levels.

After their time at IM2, Juan worked as an Ingeniero EBS at Orica, where they provided technical and operational support for the electronic blasting initiation system. From there, they joined E-Mining Technology as an Ingeniero geotécnico, focusing on field data collection, stability analysis of slopes, and determining slope design parameters for mining projects.

Juan's next position was at Taxi básico, where they worked as a Taxista for a year and a half. Juan then joined TIMining as a Project engineer, responsible for designing, planning, and executing software implementation projects. Their work also involved training software users and providing specialized support to clients using information integration software for the control of mining slopes.

Currently, Juan is working at TIMining as a Software product engineer, participating in the design, planning, and implementation of product strategies. Their responsibilities include maintaining the product backlog, prioritizing software improvements, coordinating bug fixes, conducting software testing, supporting product sales, and providing technical support to subscribed users.

Juan Bello Avilés attended various institutions and pursued different degrees in their education history. From 2004 to 2008, they studied at INACAP and earned a degree in Ingeniero en Minas, specializing in mining. After that, they enrolled at Universidad Tecnológica Metropolitana and completed their studies from 2015 to 2018, receiving a degree in Ingeniería Civil Industrial with a focus on Ingeniería de Métodos (Methods Engineering). In 2020, Juan attended Universidad de Chile for a short period, where they obtained a Postgraduate degree in Biología del Conocer y de la Comunicación Humana (Biology of Knowing and Human Communication Sciences). In 2021, they pursued further education at Universidad de Chile, acquiring skills in Power BI, specifically in Business Intelligence.
