Ben Truax

Ben Truax has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ben started their career as a Finance Intern at Hattie Larlham in 2012, followed by an Investments Intern role at Assurance Investment Management, LLC later that year. In 2013, they played professional soccer as a member of the Carolina RailHawks FC. Ben then transitioned into the field of accounting, working as a Staff Accountant at National Interstate Insurance Company from September 2013 to November 2015, before being promoted to Senior Accountant and working until December 2015. In 2016, they joined University Hospitals as a Financial Analyst and was later promoted to Financial Analyst II in March 2017. After two years, they moved to TimkenSteel Corporation and worked as a Senior Financial Analyst from June 2018 to November 2019. Their most recent role at TimkenSteel Corporation is as a Manufactured Components Controller, starting in November 2019.

Ben Truax obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Walsh University from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Accounting and Finance from Walsh University, studying from 2008 to 2012. In July 2022, Ben Truax acquired the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the Accountancy Board of Ohio - State of Ohio.
