Emma C. started their work experience in 2018 as a Facility Assistant and Specialist at North Carolina State University, where they communicated with patrons and supported facility supervisors. In 2019, they joined Alpha Phi Gamma Sorority, Inc. as Fundraising Chair and Service Chair, planning and facilitating service events. Emma also worked as a Hospitality Staff Member for Mid-Atlantic Union of Vietnamese Student Associations during the same year. Emma then served as a Water Quality Technician Intern at the City of Raleigh Municipal Government, collecting field data and organizing databases. Emma later interned as a Stormwater Plan Reviewer and continued their internship as a Water Quality Technician. In 2021, they joined the Union of Vietnamese Student Associations of the Southern Region as a Registration Staff Member, managing check-ins and setting up registration. Additionally, they worked as a Logistics Staff Member for Mid-Atlantic Union of Vietnamese Student Associations, creating emergency response plans and coordinating supplies for conferences. Currently, they are a Project Engineer I at Timmons Group, designing projects and preparing specifications using relevant software and technology.
Emma C. attended North Carolina State University from 2017 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Engineering with a concentration in Environmental Engineering. Additionally, they minored in Environmental Science during their time at the university. In January 2022, Emma obtained a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification from ITTT - International TEFL & TESOL training. In 2018, they also obtained a CPR/AED/First Aid certification from the American Red Cross. Furthermore, Emma obtained an Open Water Diver certification from PADI in 2011.
