Jenniffer Melchiade

Jenniffer Melchiade has a diverse work experience in various roles related to landscape architecture, planning, and design. Jenniffer is currently working at Timmons Group as a Landscape Architect Planner II & Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Prosser, Inc. for four years as a Landscape Designer & Federal Planner. In this role, they were responsible for landscape design and tree conservation construction plans for different types of sites, and they also provided support as a Federal Planner for field survey projects. Before that, they worked as a Freelance Designer at Watered Garden Florist for a brief period. Additionally, they worked at WithersRavenel as a Landscape Designer, where they collaborated on research and design projects and also performed illustrative rendering. Their earlier experience includes working as a Cultural Center Event Assistant in the Parks & Recreation Department of the Town of Holly Springs.

Jenniffer Melchiade has pursued a diverse education path spanning multiple areas of interest. Jenniffer began their higher education journey at Central Carolina Community College in 2013, where they studied Sustainability Studies with a focus on Renewable Energy Technology & Sustainable Agriculture. Following this, they attended Wake Technical Community College from 2014 to 2016, earning an Associate's Degree in Landscape Architecture Technology.

In 2017, Jenniffer enrolled at North Carolina State University, where they pursued an Undergraduate Certificate in Plant Pests, Pathogens and People within the field of Agriculture and Life Sciences. This educational endeavor lasted until 2020, providing their with comprehensive knowledge in this specialized study area.

Continuing their pursuit of knowledge and professional development, Jenniffer attended the University of North Florida in 2022 to enhance their skills in Computer Software Engineering, specifically focusing on Web Development & Coding. Although they did not complete a degree in this field, their coursework allowed their to gain valuable expertise.

Jenniffer's commitment to education is further demonstrated by their current enrollment at Florida International University, where they are expected to obtain a Bachelor's degree in International Relations & Public Affairs by 2024. This program will equip their with extensive knowledge in these subjects, preparing their for a career in the field.

In addition to their formal education, Jenniffer has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skill set. Notably, they completed the Cybersecurity Fundamentals program offered by IBM in March 2023, and the Full-Stack Web Development program at Fullstack Academy in December 2022. Prior to these achievements, they earned certifications in Arborist from the International Society of Arboriculture in October 2021, and Crowd Management from the North Carolina Department of Insurance in June 2016.
