Michael Edwards has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Student Intern at TRICARE Management Activity in 2009. In 2010, they worked as a Student Orientation Staff at Virginia Tech. Michael then joined Mayor Jones' Anti-Poverty Commission in 2011 as part of the Transportation Workgroup. In the same year, they started their studies at Virginia Commonwealth University as a student. In 2012, Michael served as a Wilder Fellow at Virginia Information Technologies Agency and as a Research Intern at the Greater Richmond Partnership. Following their undergraduate studies, Michael pursued a Master's degree at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2011 to 2013, specializing in Urban Affairs and Public Policy. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Real Estate Sales from the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation in August 2012. Furthermore, Michael holds a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are unknown.
