Molly Thomson Pe

Molly Thomson, PE, has diverse work experience in engineering and hospitality. Molly is currently employed as a Project Engineer II at Timmons Group since August 2021. Prior to that, Molly worked at Vakos Companies as a Junior Engineer from January 2018 to July 2021. Molly also gained experience as a Civil Engineering Intern at W.J. Vakos & Company from May 2017 to August 2017. Additionally, Molly had roles as a Server at Professional Catering from September 2016 to December 2017, a Mentor at Hypatia Living Learning Community from August 2015 to October 2015, and a Camp Leader at Charlottesville Parks and Recreation from June 2015 to July 2015.

Molly Thomson, PE completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended the Math, Engineering, and Science Academy from 2010 to 2014, where they did not obtain a degree or specialize in a specific field of study. Molly also holds an Advanced Diploma from Albemarle High School in Charlottesville, VA, obtained in 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Molly Thomson, PE has obtained professional certifications. Molly earned the Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation in June 2022. Molly also obtained the RLD certification from the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality in March 2021.
