Electrical Engineering Project Manager at Timmons Group

Ryan P. has a diverse range of work experience in the electrical engineering field. Ryan started their career as a RA/TA at the University of Wyoming in 2008 and worked until 2009. Ryan then joined Electrical Consultants Inc. in 2010 as an Electrical Design Engineer, where they designed control houses for substations and ran programs for voltage analysis and power flow. After that, they worked at Alliance Consulting Engineers as a Project Engineer from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at ESC Engineering as an Electrical Engineer focused on Power Systems Planning. Ryan then joined High Energy Inc. as an Electrical Engineer from 2017 to 2019, where they reviewed and developed design standards for utility companies and designed protection and control drawings. Since 2019, they have been working at Barr Engineering Co. as an Electrical Engineer, specializing in distribution and substation projects, as well as wind farm projects and other industrial facilities. Currently, they are working at Timmons Group as an Electrical Engineering Project Manager, where they are responsible for LV, MV, and HV electrical collection system and substation design, electrical systems modeling, and power flow studies and analysis.

Ryan P. earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Wyoming between the years 2004 and 2008. Following this, they pursued a higher education and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in the same field of study from the University of Wyoming, completing their studies between the years 2008 and 2009.
