Born in Manchester and immersed since childhood in the antiques business of his father Major Philip Oulton, Tim inherited his father’s eye for beauty and detail, and an ability to see artistic value and perfection in a piece's design. He was captivated by the exquisite quality and patina of the pieces, in particular those of British heritage. 

Having established workshops schooled in traditional craftsmanship, today Timothy Oulton continues to innovate with  advances in design, production, materials and finishes, creating a collection that is at once energetic and refined, deeply rooted in classic British style and values, and yet perfectly suited for today's modern lifestyle. 

Timothy Oulton now displays the collection in a growing number of speciality stores in the world's best cities, including Hong Kong, L.A., New York, Sydney, Dubai, New Delhi, and a global flagship at Bluebird in London.
