Zeda Perkins

Zeda Perkins is an experienced educator with a strong background in special education and a commitment to enhancing student learning. Currently serving as the Director of Special Education at Urban Act Academy since August 2018, Zeda also teaches middle school at Tindley Accelerated Schools, a role held since July 2017. Previous experience includes teaching special education and English language arts at Indianapolis Public Schools from July 2011 to May 2018, and working as an elementary school teacher at Champaign Unit 4 Schools from August 2004 to May 2008. Zeda holds a Master's degree in Adult Education and Training from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Lane College, emphasizing multi/interdisciplinary studies.
