Dave Colgan

Dave Colgan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Dave currently holds the position of Account Executive - EMEA at Tines, an automation platform designed to simplify manual tasks without the need for custom code. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Development Representative at Tines.

Before joining Tines, Dave worked as a Customer Success Specialist at VisibleThread, where they developed solutions to automate government contracting workflows and implemented successful webinar series. Dave also provided a high level of onboarding and support to ensure the smooth adoption of the platform.

Prior to VisibleThread, Dave worked at SAP as an IR / Support Engineer CoE. In this role, they proposed holistic solutions to address customer pain points, led engineering teams for global customers, and helped implement the latest concepts of the Operations Control Center.

Earlier in their career, Dave served as the European Content Coordinator at the Movember Foundation, where they led the coordination of broadcast email campaigns across emerging European markets and created engaging content for social media and website platforms. Dave also worked at Jesuit Refugee Service as a Communications and Media Associate, and at www.clicnews.ie as a Reporter. Dave began their career as a News Editor at "The Liberty" newspaper.

Dave Colgan completed a Diploma in Full Stack Software Development at Code Institute in 2017, which focused on web development, databases, and backend software development. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2012, they pursued a BA (Hons) in Journalism with a language at Technological University Dublin, specializing in NGO-Media relations. In 2010 and 2011, they also participated in an Erasmus Semester at Université catholique de Louvain, studying communication and media studies. Before their university education, Dave attended Blackrock College from 2000 to 2007, although specific degree details are not specified. Furthermore, they obtained a Tines Core Builder Certification from Tines in February 2023.
