Eoin Hinchy

Eoin Hinchy has a diverse background in the field of information security and technology. Eoin is the founder of Tines, a company they started in 2018. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Director of Cyber Security at DocuSign from April 2017 to February 2018, and as the Director of Information Security from August 2014 to April 2017. At DocuSign, they were responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Cyber Security Incident Response program.

Before joining DocuSign, Eoin worked at eBay Inc. from May 2011 to August 2014. During their time there, they held the position of Senior Information Security Engineer / EMEA Lead Global Threat Management. Eoin led an InfoSec team responsible for threat management, detection, forensics, malware analysis, incident response, and eCrime investigation for eBay Inc. and its affiliated companies.

Eoin also has experience as the founder of PlainSight Forensics & Security, a company they started in September 2008. PlainSight is a computer forensics environment that allows inexperienced forensic practitioners to perform tasks using powerful open-source tools. Eoin successfully ran this company until August 2014.

Earlier in their career, Eoin worked at Deloitte as an IT Security & Forensics Specialist from September 2008 to May 2011. Eoin also worked as a Computer Engineer at Reach from June 2006 to September 2007, and as a Software Developer at Hewlett Packard from February 2005 to October 2005.

Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Security and Forensic Computing from Dublin City University in 2008. Eoin began their education journey at Technological University Dublin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering Technology (B.Eng.Tech) in Applied Electronics from 2001 to 2004.
