Katherine McGuire Gipson

Katherine McGuire Gipson is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the software industry, currently serving as Senior Director of Legal at Tines since August 2023. Previously, Katherine held positions as Director of Legal Counsel and Lead Commercial Counsel at Tines, and Corporate Counsel/Public Sector Counsel at Elastic from August 2021 to August 2023, providing strategic legal support in commercial and public sector matters. Prior experience includes serving as an attorney at Maynard Nexsen PC, where Katherine was part of the Corporate Securities & Tax Practice Group, and at Lanier Ford Shaver & Payne P.C., representing clients in various industries, including businesses, corporations, and government contractors. Katherine holds a Juris Doctor and a Master of Laws in Tax Law from The University of Alabama School of Law, as well as a degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of California, Davis.
