Paul Pine has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Paul is currently the Vice President of Supply Chain Operations at Ting Internet and has been with the company since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Supply Chain at the same company starting from May 2021.
Before joining Ting Internet, Paul was a General Member of the Board at Campfire Consulting Group LLC, where they started in June 2017. Paul also worked at Google as a Contracts and Engineering Support specialist from July 2019 to May 2021.
Paul has a background in entrepreneurship, having co-founded Crayon Industries in February 2019. Paul served as a Co-Founder until December 2020.
Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Paul held a senior managerial position at SquareTrade, where they were responsible for operations and business development. During their tenure from March 2014 to May 2017, they played a crucial role in advancing forward and reverse logistics associated with smart phone repair, executing supplier contract negotiations, and introducing new products. Paul also implemented quality improvement programs and reduced program costs through detailed analyses and audits.
Paul started their career at Apple as a Global Sourcing Manager for CapEx, where they were responsible for contracts, pricing, installation support, and crisis management related to laser CapEx on iPhone, iPad, and Mac product lines. Paul worked at Apple from July 2012 to March 2014.
Additionally, Paul has experience in teaching, having worked as an MBA Teaching Assistant at the McCombs School of Business from August 2011 to July 2012. Paul also worked as a Summer Associate in R&D Strategy at Furniture Brands International in 2011.
Paul's career began at Michelin, where they held the roles of Marketing Project Manager and Business Unit Leader from 2004 to 2011. Before that, they worked as a GMAT Instructor at Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions from October 2009 to May 2011.
Paul Pine has a strong education background. Paul obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1995 and 1999. Paul then pursued a Master of Science degree in the same field at Stanford University from 1999 to 2001. Later, Paul Pine attended the Texas McCombs School of Business from 2010 to 2012 to earn their MBA, focusing on Strategic Marketing.
