Shimpei Takamatsu

Shimpei Takamatsu is an experienced software engineer who has worked for numerous companies since 2011. Their most recent role was as a Technical Lead for Concentrix Catalyst, where they worked until May 2023. Prior to this, Shimpei worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Chomp - How Good Friends Food, and as a VP of Engineering at MANSION MARKET Inc. Shimpei has also worked as a Software Engineer at Akatsuki, Inc., Wantedly, Inc., Enigmo, and NEC Soft. Throughout their various roles, Shimpei has utilized a range of programming languages and tools, including Ruby on Rails, MySQL, Redis, React Native, Node.js, and Struts 1. Shimpei has experience designing and implementing architecture, leading development teams, and developing web-based applications for enterprise customers.

Shimpei Takamatsu completed their undergraduate degree in Music with a focus on Musical Creativity and the Environment at Tokyo University of the Arts in 2009. Shimpei then enrolled in the Institute of Advanced Media Arts and Sciences from 2009-2011, earning a degree in Media Creation. In 2019, they obtained their Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance.
