Michelle Lowery has worked in a variety of roles since 2000. Michelle began their career as a Teacher at Temple Emanu-El Preschool in 2000. Michelle then moved to Temple Emanu-El San Francisco, California in 2000, where they worked as a Teacher, providing daily safe care of children and implementing Developmentally Appropriate Practice, Lesson Planning and supervision of Staff. In 2007, they began working as a Teacher at Temple Peninsula Sholom, where they were in charge of Transitional Kindergarten, responsible for Lesson Planning, children's assessments, parent meetings and daily curriculum implementation. In 2010, they began working at Temple Beth Torah as a Teacher and Master Teacher in a Preschool setting, teaching Jewish curriculum, as well as Emergent, Creative, Reggio Emelia and all other play-based philosophies. Michelle also supervised Teachers and volunteers in the program. In 2015, they became the Business Owner of Infusion of Beauty, where they strive to provide Healthy alternatives for Everyday Life- Safer beauty products, Unique jewelry finds and Solutions for Better Living. In 2017, they became the Business Owner of The Playhouse- A Kids' Place To Play. Finally, in 2018, they began working as a Tinkergarten Leader for Tinkergarten.
Michelle Lowery has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Florida State University, with a minor in Studio Arts. Michelle also has an Associate's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies from San Francisco State University, which they obtained after attending University of California, Berkeley from 1988 to 1990. Additionally, Lowery has an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from San Francisco State University. Lastly, they hold a CDA certification.
