Stacy Coplin

Stacy comes to Tinkergarten with a passion for working with children, a deep love of nature, and a happy dose of luck. She got her bachelor's degree in English in 2005 and then her Master's in Education in 2008. She followed her educational passion into teaching preschool, which led to her starting her own preschool just as she started her family. Stacy constantly searched for methods of creating a deeper connection with nature and the world around them in early childhood. This search brought her to Tinkergarten, and she began as a leader in the Fall of 2015. Since that time Stacy has spent several seasons of Tinkergarten connecting families to nature and playing in the rain out on the west coast in Oregon, added a second explorer to her family, and joined as part of the support team. Stacy is so grateful to be part of such a wonderful organization, and is excited to bring her span sense of empathy, passion for writing, positivity and love of learning to the Tinkergarten team.
