José Trindade Águas

José Trindade Águas has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of logistics and business management. José has held several leadership roles in different companies, managing various projects and departments.

From 2017 to the present, José has been working as the Head of Logistics at Tintas Robbialac, where they oversee a team of 15 employees and is responsible for the global management of logistics operations.

Prior to that, they worked as the Corporate Operations Director at H. Seabra S.A. - Holding Company from 2013 to 2017. In this role, they supervised budgetary control, project execution, and managed the company's ERP system.

From 2007 to 2012, they served as the Operations Director at H. Seabra S.A. - Comércio e Industrias Termicas, where they oversaw the complete cycle of project execution and optimized business processes.

Before that, José worked as an Independent Business Process Consultant from 2002 to 2007. In this capacity, they provided specialized expertise in business process management solutions and conducted data modeling and improvement programs for clients.

José also had experience at APLOG - Associação Portuguesa de Logística from 2005 to 2007, where they were responsible for the training center business unit and oversaw the organization's logistics-based training center.

From 2000 to 2002, José worked at VTM Consultores as the Deputy Managing Director, where they developed projects related to database development and technical audits.

José began their career at Fernave - Formação Técnica, Psicologia Aplicada e Consultoria em Transportes e Portos, S.A. in 1992. José held various roles, including Deputy Director and Business Unit Responsible, Deputy Director of the Consultant and Information Technology Department, and Responsible for the Computer Based Training Center.

Prior to that, from 1991 to 1992, they worked at Grupo Entreposto as a system analyst and responsible for technical assistance of hardware and software, where they managed LAN administration and performed technical support duties.

José Trindade Águas has an extensive education history. José obtained a Master's Degree in Informatics Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra, specializing in Decision Support System and Information System. José also completed a Postgraduate program in Logistics and Distribution at Instituto Superior de Gestão.

Prior to these degrees, José earned an Engineer's Degree from the Higher Institute of Transport & Communication in Lisbon, with a focus on Transports. José also holds another Engineer's Degree from the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa, specializing in Computer Science and Operational Research.

In addition to their formal education, José has obtained several certifications. These include "Networking: Como Criar uma Rede de Contatos Profissionais" from LinkedIn in December 2018, "Driving e-Commerce" from Nova School of Business and Economics in November 2018, "Lean Project Management" from Kaizen Institute Portugal in March 2012, and "Project Manager" from IPMA: International Project Management Association in January 2009.
