Abida Nagra

Abida Nagra is a Principal Consultant at Nagra since December 2020. Abida also works as an Organizational Development Consultant at Tintash since August 2021. Additionally, they serve as a Privacy Impact Assessment Consultant for the World Food Programme from October 2021 to May 2023. Abida holds the position of Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist at the World Health Organization from October to December 2022. Moreover, they worked as a Consultant in Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management at Innovation Norway from May to July 2022. Prior to these roles, Abida held various positions at the Norwegian Refugee Council, including Senior Adviser, Adviser-Internal Systems & Processes/Project Manager, Programme Adviser, Programme Director, and Protection and Advocacy Advisor. Abida also has experience as a Technical Specialist at UNICEF Somalia, Adviser at UN Resident Coordinator's Office, Consultant at Rosemann Consulting, and Programme Officer at UNDP.

Abida Nagra has a diverse education history. Abida completed their Bachelor of Science (Honors) degree in Computer Science from Lahore University of Management Sciences from 1999 to 2003. Abida further pursued their education at Georgetown University, where they obtained a Master of Public Policy (MPP) degree specializing in International Policy & International Law from 2006 to 2008. During the same period, they also earned a Certificate in Refugee and Humanitarian Emergencies from Georgetown University.

Additionally, Abida Nagra has obtained several certifications in the field of data protection and privacy. In April 2021, they became a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and also obtained the certification of Certified Information Privacy Professional (Europe) from the same institution. Furthermore, they achieved the Data Protection Officer certification from PECB in April 2021.
