Ken Burns

Ken Burns is the founder and president of TinyCircuits. Ken has over 25 years of experience in product development, specializing in electrical product design.

Ken started their career as a senior project engineer at AVID Technologies, Inc., where they worked on hardware and firmware development for consumer air treatment and water treatment systems. Ken also worked on ATM terminal software development, developing the main user interface, LCD interfacing, printer and cash dispenser interfaces.

In 2010, Ken left AVID Technologies to become a senior project manager at MACTek Corp, where they were heavily involved in the development of a 4-20mA Loop powered WirelessHART Adapter. Ken also served as MACTek's technical representative in the WirelessHART working group from 2005 to 2013.

In 2013, Ken founded TinyCircuits, where they continue to develop innovative electronics solutions for a wide range of applications.

Ken Burns earned their BSEE in Electrical Engineering from The University of Akron and their MSEE in Electrical Engineering from the same school.

Some individuals on their team include Matt Miller - Assembly Technician, Austin Kaufman - Assembly Technician, and Lindsey Bucher - Operations Manager.
