Linda Permann has over 18 years of work experience in the craft and content industries. Linda began their career in 2003 as a Communications Assistant at Newsweek. In 2005, they became the Craft and Decorating Editor for Adorn & Joann Magazines at SOHO Publishing. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Teacher, Author, Crochet Designer at Lindamade/ Linda Permann Designs. During this time, they also worked as a Fiber Consultant & Instructor at Yarnivore. From 2012 to 2018, they were the Senior Category Editor, Quilting at Craftsy and later became the Senior Acquisitions Editor, Sewing & Embroidery and Content Editor & Instructional Producer. In 2018, they joined Bluprint as Senior Manager, Programming, developing anywhere from 21 classes per quarter to 12 classes per year. In 2020, they became the Director, One Big Happy Yarn Co. at Creativity, INC. Currently, they are the Director, Content & Partnerships and Director, Content & Expert Relations at Tinyhood, Inc.

Linda Permann attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1998 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine and Studio Arts.
