Evgeni Gousev

Evgeni Gousev is a Senior Director at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., where responsibilities include leading hardware and systems research and development in the Bay Area and managing a multi-regional program focused on ultra-low power edge computing and machine vision. Gousev has also spearheaded various innovative projects within Qualcomm, such as the "Glance" project, which launched the industry's first always-on machine vision platform. Currently, Gousev serves as a Board of Trustees member at the American Institute of Physics Foundation and as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the tinyML Foundation, a non-profit aimed at advancing machine learning technologies for battery-operated devices. Additional roles include contributions to SEMI and IBM, where Gousev made significant advancements in silicon technology and CMOS development. Gousev holds a PhD in Solid State Physics and an MSc in Engineering Physics from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute.
