Marcelo Caraveo

Marcelo Caraveo is an experienced financial professional with a strong background in risk management and asset management. Currently serving as Risk Director and Asset Manager at TIP México since August 2016, Marcelo oversees a team of 20 in the Risk Management department and a team of 4 in Asset Management. Prior roles include Head of Risk, Information and Claims at Solunion Seguros de Crédito, where Marcelo managed a portfolio worth 12 billion euros while reporting to the CEO. Marcelo's extensive experience includes leadership positions at Banamex and Navistar Financial Mexico, overseeing substantial portfolios and leading teams in credit management and financial analysis. Marcelo holds multiple degrees, including a Global MBA from Tecnológico de Monterrey and Thunderbird School of Global Management, as well as a diploma in Credit Management from Citigroup Commercial Credit College.
