Marco Keijzers

Marco Keijzers has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Marco currently serves as the Finance Director Benelux at TIP Group since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a University Lecturer at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, teaching Turnaround Management and assisting students with their thesis.

From 2019 to 2022, Marco worked as a Finance, Restructuring & Turnaround Professional at Emperor Consulting The Netherlands. In this role, they focused on financial restructuring, financial management, and turnaround management, operating as an interim CFO and consultant in various industries.

Before that, Marco served as an Interim Financial Professional at Emperor Consulting South Africa from 2013 to 2019, specializing in interim CFO roles, turnaround/business rescue, and forensic investigations.

From 2007 to 2013, Marco worked as an Associate Director at SustainAbility Solutions Africa, providing financial consultancy and audit services to NGOs and international donors in Africa.

Marco's career began at PwC in 1997, where they worked as a Manager until 2007.

Marco Keijzers earned a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1991 to 1998. Marco then went on to complete a degree in RA (Registered Accountant) from Tilburg University from 1999 to 2003. In 2014 to 2015, they obtained a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, specializing in Financial Forensics and Fraud Investigation. Lastly, in 2015 to 2016, Marco earned a certification as a Certified Rescue Analyst from the University of Pretoria, focusing on Business Rescue.
