Spencer Wood has a diverse work experience, beginning with their current role as a Real Estate Broker at United Country Real Estate since 2020. From 2014-2016, they were the Founder & CEO of Tip Whip, a fare-free ride share company exclusively for college students. In 2016, they founded DelWhip and from 2012-2014, they were the Founder of S. W. Wood LLC and inventor of the Body Guard. During this same time period, they were also a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the College of Education and Human Development, a Coordinator of MALE ATHLETES AGAINST VIOLENCE at the University of Maine, a UNITED WAY VOLUNTEER at United Way of America, a BLACK BEAR MENTOR at Black Bear Mentors, and a CONVERSATION PARTNER at the Intensive English Institute. From 2009-2012, they were a STUDENT-ATHLETE TUTOR/MENTOR and a NCAA DIVISION I FOOTBALL STUDENT-ATHLETE at the University of Maine.

Spencer Wood has obtained a Master's degree in Human Development from the University of Maine between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication and Media Studies, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Child Development and Family Relations, and a Peace Studies & Reconciliation degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities from the same university between 2009 and 2013. Additionally, they hold a Real Estate Broker Associate certification from United Country Real Estate.
