Eric Chang started their work experience as an Intern in Accounting at HBK Capital Management in 2007. Eric then worked as a Summer Analyst in Equity Research at Goldman Sachs in 2008. After that, they became an Analyst in Structured Finance at EY from 2009 to 2010. Eric then joined Jefferies as an Analyst in Investment Banking from 2010 to 2012. Following that, they worked at Amplify Energy Corp, first as an Associate in Strategic Planning from 2013 to 2014, then as a Manager in Strategic Planning from 2014 to 2017. Eric subsequently worked at Mizuho as an Associate in Equity Research from 2017 to 2018. Eric then returned to Amplify Energy Corp as a Director in Strategic Planning from 2018 to 2019, and later as a Treasurer from 2019 to 2020. Eric then had an MBA Internship in Finance at Taco Bell in 2021. Eric subsequently worked at Meta as a Finance Manager from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Eric is working as an FP&A Manager at Tipalti starting in 2023.
Eric Chang has a solid educational background, having pursued various degrees and certifications in the field of business and finance. Eric obtained their MBA (Master of Business Administration) specializing in Finance and Strategy from the USC Marshall School of Business, where they studied from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned an MPA (Master in Professional Accounting) with a focus on Financial Reporting and Assurance from the Texas McCombs School of Business, which they attended from 2008 to 2009. Eric's undergraduate studies were also at the Texas McCombs School of Business, where they obtained their BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) in Accounting and Finance between 2004 and 2009. In addition to their academic achievements, Eric has several certifications including Open Water Diver from PADI, and Series 63, Series 7, Series 79, Series 86, and Series 87 certifications from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority). Eric also holds the WSET Level 1 Award in Wines from the WSET – Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
