Joys Choi

Joys Choi has a diverse work experience spanning various legal roles. Starting in 2011, they served as the President of La Gilgal Corporation until 2015. In 2015, Joys worked as a Legal Intern at the East Bay Community Law Center. From 2016 to 2017, they held two roles at PracticePro LLC, including Publications & Communications and Summer Associate. In 2017, Joys joined ATEL Capital Group as an Associate Counsel, where they stayed until 2019. In 2019, they began working at Tipalti, starting as a Corporate Counsel and progressing to the role of Senior Corporate Counsel in 2020. Currently, Joys holds the position of Director, Legal - Corporate at Tipalti, starting in July 2023.

Joys Choi obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International/Global Studies from UC San Diego in the years 2008-2012. Following this, they pursued higher education at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law from 2014 to 2017 and received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree specializing in Law. In December 2017, they obtained their admission to the State Bar of California.
