Nikolaos Doukas

Nikolaos Doukas has extensive work experience in various roles within the IT and procurement sectors. Nikolaos began their career as a Software QA Engineer and Developer at Archetypon, where they conducted testing and played a role in IT projects. Nikolaos then moved on to SingularLogic as a SIEBEL CRM Consultant and Business Analyst. Following this, Doukas worked as an Enterprise Governance Risk & Compliance Consultant at ETHNODATA S.A. / National Bank of Greece. Nikolaos then joined the National Bank of Greece, where they held roles as a Management Consultant and procurement expert, responsible for sourcing IT commodities and managing relationships with suppliers. Doukas later joined Agroknow as a Business Process Expert before their most recent role as Head of IT Supplier Management at Tipico. Throughout their career, Doukas has gained experience in IT project management, procurement strategy, supplier management, and compliance.

Nikolaos Doukas completed their education in two stages. From 1998 to 2002, they attended the Department of Informatics at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, where they earned a degree in Informatics Engineering. Following this, from 2003 to 2005, they pursued a MSc Degree in "Technologies and management of information and communication systems" at the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering, University of the Aegean. Nikolaos'sspecialization during this period was in "Communication and Computer Networking Technologies."

In addition to their formal education, Nikolaos Doukas has obtained several certifications. In 2020, they received the ITIL v4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert. Nikolaos also obtained certifications in various professional development courses from LinkedIn, including "How to Be Promotable," "Working with Difficult People," "Having Difficult Conversations," "Negotiating Your Salary," "Negotiating: A Toolkit for Advancing Your Interests," and "Negotiation Skills."
