Ronald Sievers has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. 🌟Ronald started their career in 2003 at Academic Consultancy Services as a Junior Engineer, where they automated manual tasks and developed online questionnaires. 🌟Ronald then became a Medior Engineer at the same company, implementing an adaptive IQ test.
In 2006, Ronald established their own company, RSP BV, where they served as the Owner. 🌟Ronald was responsible for managing a community of 500 and focused on internet technology and information services, using technologies such as Delphi, Pascal, XML, PHP, and MySQL.
In 2012, Ronald joined funda as a Senior Engineer for a brief period, followed by a role at IENS Independent Index as a Senior Engineer. At IENS Independent Index, they worked on agile development within the Zend Framework and utilized technologies like PHP, memcache, and SOLR.
Ronald's career then led him to Minus3 in 2013, where they worked as a Senior Engineer before transitioning to Tiqets in 2014. At Tiqets, they initially started as a Senior Engineer and became part of the core team responsible for a high-traffic B2C/reseller/API service. The company grew significantly during their tenure, becoming one of the top three startups in Europe. Ronald then progressed to roles including Tech Lead, Engineering Lead, and most recently, Engineering Manager. In these positions, they managed multiple teams, led B2B domains, and played a significant role in shaping and developing the company's architecture.

Ronald Sievers obtained their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Amsterdam, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, they have also acquired several certifications, including "Datadog 101: Developer", "Datadog 201: Becoming a power user", "Introduction to Monitoring Kubernetes", and "Using Datadog RUM to track Core Web Vitals" from Datadog, which were obtained in December 2022. Furthermore, they have completed the "Leadership skills for architects and other technical leaders" certification from the High Tech Institute in April 2020. Lastly, they have undertaken a certification course on "Building reports in Looker" from Looker, although the exact dates for completing this certification are not provided.
