Faisal al-Yousef

Faisal Al-Yousef has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Faisal is currently working as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Tiqmo since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Professional Freelancer in 2022. In 2021, Faisal served as the CISO at neoleap and also worked as a Cybersecurity Advisor at Vision Invest. Faisal was the Cybersecurity Director at Tatweer Educational Technologies from March 2021 to November 2021. Faisal has also held the position of CISO at Quara Finance in 2020. Earlier in their career, they gained experience at STC Pay as a Cyber Security Director, Manager, and Consultant. Faisal started their cybersecurity journey at Sahara Net in 2013, where they held various roles including Cyber Security Supervisor & Acting Manager, Information Security Acting Manager, Information Security Project Manager, IT Security Engineer, and IT Security System Administrator.

Faisal Al-Yousef earned a Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity from the University of Liverpool in the years 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued Information Computer Science studies at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals - KFUPM, reaching Junior Level. Along with their educational achievements, Faisal also holds various certifications in cybersecurity and related fields, including "Social and Behavioral Researchers" from CITI Program, "SEC575: Mobile Device Security and Ethical Hacking Course Completion" from SANS Institute, and "Certified Mile2 Instructor" from Mile2, among others.
