Mert Çakıcı

Mert Acar is a Senior Software Engineer at Sky since March 2023, having previously served as a Software Engineer at Improbable and Sky in various roles from September 2019 to March 2023. At Sky, Mert developed a Golang Kubernetes Operator for managing live streams utilized by services such as NowTV and Sky Go. As a Software Engineer in the Cloud Center of Excellence, Mert architected event-based solutions for ingesting AWS Cost and Usage Reports into GCP's BigQuery and for collecting member account metadata. Mert began a career as a Graduate Software Engineer, creating a web portal to facilitate access to services for internal users. Education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from King's College London, supplemented by a Pearson BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Information Technology and secondary education at The Heathland School.
