Andrew David Bonamour

Chief Executive Officer at Tiso Blackstar Group

Andrew David Bonamour has over 25 years of experience in investment banking and corporate finance. Andrew began their career at Chase Manhattan in 1989, where they spent 11 years as a director. In 2000, they moved to J.P. Morgan, where they served as head of corporate finance for Africa.

In 2001, Bonamour joined the Tiso Group, a diversified investment holding company with operations in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. Andrew served as group managing director for 10 years before moving to Nedbank in 2014, where they served as a non-executive director for three years.

In May 2017, Bonamour returned to the Tiso Blackstar Group, where they currently serve as chief executive officer.

Andrew David Bonamour graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a BSc Econs (Hons) in Economics. Andrew also holds a Diplome de Langue et de Civilisation from Université Paris-Sorbonne in French Language and Literature.
