Shaunak Parikh

Shaunak Parikh is a Partner at EW Healthcare, a private equity firm specializing in growth-stage investments across healthcare. With more than 10 years of experience, Mr. Parikh focuses on investing in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostic and technology-enabled service opportunities. He also plays an active role in the management and value creation process of existing portfolio companies.

Prior to joining EW in 2013, Mr. Parikh was an Associate at Health Evolution Partners, a private equity firm focused on healthcare services, life sciences, and HCIT. Previously, he worked in the investment banking group at Citigroup, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions primarily in the medical device and pharmaceutical sectors.

In addition to BioTissue, Mr. Parikh also serves as a Director on the Board of Encore Dermatology and as an observer for Cardiva Medical and Prolacta Biosciences.

Mr. Parikh earned his M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with Honors from U.C.L.A with a B.S. in Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics and a B.A. in Economics.
