Essam Ali has extensive experience in the cement industry, specifically with Titan Cement Group and Holcim. Essam currently serves as the Managing Director for Green Alternative Fuel Assets and the Ready Mix Company at TITAN Cement Egypt (TCE). Essam is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of these two companies. Prior to this role, Essam served as the Plants Director and BU Performance Development at TITAN Cement Group, where they led a team and was responsible for two plants in Egypt. Before joining TITAN Cement Group, Essam worked at Holcim as the Maintenance and Investments Department Manager, where they designed procedures to ensure smooth plant operations and efficiency. Essam also held roles as the Methods, Planning, Inspection, and Improvements Manager and Chief Electrical Manager at Holcim, where they focused on optimizing maintenance activities and improving electrical safety.

Essam Ali has a diverse education history. In 1991-1995, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Alexandria University Faculty of Engineering. Essam later pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from a university accredited by Georgia Estate University USA between 2010 and 2012. In the same period, they also completed a course in Six Sigma. In 2004-2006, Essam obtained a Diploma in Professional Projects Management from the American University in Cairo (AUC). In 2010-2012, they received a diploma from CPB in cement & raw mills performance from Bekam Germany. Furthermore, they earned a Diploma in Maintenance Management from FLS International (Copenhagen) in 2010 and completed an HR diploma from Cambridge College in 2015. Essam further expanded their knowledge by attending international training programs, including Total Safety Leadership from The International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (Netherlands) in 2016 and International REFRATECHNIK Trainings (Germany) in 2014. Currently, Essam is pursuing a Diploma of Education in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management at Cambridge College from 2021 to 2022.
